Shipping policy

1. General

All products offered for sale by Ado Coffee Company (“the Seller”) are packed and sealed in Sri Lanka and subsequently transported to Switzerland by air freight. Upon arrival in Switzerland, orders are processed, repackaged as necessary, and dispatched to the final delivery address indicated by the customer.

2. Packaging

Depending on the size, weight, and nature of the order, items shall be packed either in a mailing bag or a box. The method of packaging shall be determined solely at the discretion of Ado Coffee Company to ensure adequate protection during transit.

 

3. Shipping Costs

(a) Orders with a total value exceeding CHF 50.00 (inclusive of taxes, where applicable) shall be shipped to the customer free of charge.
(b) Orders with a total value of CHF 50.00 or less shall incur a shipping fee, which shall be displayed at the time of checkout.
(c) Ado Coffee Company reserves the right to amend shipping rates at any time; however, such amendments shall not affect confirmed orders placed prior to the date of amendment.

 

4. Delivery

(a) Deliveries shall be made exclusively within Switzerland.
(b) All deliveries shall be carried out by Swiss Post under its standard terms and conditions of carriage.
(c) The estimated delivery period shall be between two (3) and four (5) business days from the date of dispatch within Switzerland. While Ado Coffee Company endeavours to ensure timely delivery, no guarantee is provided with respect to exact delivery dates.
(d) Risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery of the shipment to the customer’s designated address.

 

5. Tracking

Where available, Swiss Post tracking details shall be provided to the customer upon dispatch of the order from Switzerland.

 

6. Customer Obligations

The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information at the time of placing the order. Ado Coffee Company shall not be held liable for delays or failed deliveries arising from incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Shipping Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland.
